Beau T. Bryan, M.D., founded Bryan Eye Clinic in 2021 to provide the best medical and surgical eye care in South Carolina. He has practiced comprehensive ophthalmology in Columbia since 2014. Dr. Bryan is committed to his patients and works collaboratively with other eye doctors and primary care physicians in the community.
Dr. Bryan specializes in state-of-the-art cataract surgery. He has performed thousands of cataract surgeries in the Midlands; he thoroughly evaluates each patient, customizing a plan based on the patient’s goals and lifestyle. With premium technologies, he offers a wide range of choices to fit your lifestyle. He has extensive experience with LenSx® laser-assisted surgery for astigmatism correction, Toric lenses for higher levels of astigmatism, Vivity extended depth of focus lenses, and other excellent lens options to achieve glasses independence.
Dr. Bryan maintains his board certification through the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He performs cataract surgery at the Palmetto Surgery Center, where he has served as president of the governing board. Dr. Bryan is a proud alumni of the Medical College of Georgia (2010), University of Georgia (2006) and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Texas A&M/Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX.
Dr. Bryan is happily married with four sons and is an ordained deacon of First Presbyterian Church. He offers prayer with every patient before cataract surgery, which he considers one of his greatest privileges. He is also an accomplished pianist. When not practicing medicine, he can be found at the piano, spending time with his sons, or enjoying dates with his wife.
